OK, I know that is a tacky Blog title but those are the exact words I saw on Google when I went to create an Evite for Nina's Bday Party. Yes my stationary fans, I went paperless this year...totally against my mantra, I know. But it's a long, crazy, margarita induced story as to why I went with a web invite so let's have that talk another time, shall we? So, I was too lazy to just type in www.evite blah blah blah and I Googled it (yes, LAZY) and off to the right side I see this little title that said 'Evite Sucks, use Socializr'. Who can argue with that? So I click on it and WOW! On Socializr you can choose TONS of music choices for your event, the designs are WAY cooler then Evite, it will automatically search and upload your address books for you from Outlook, Gmail, Yahoo, etc, (love that), and of course it's FREE! It's much more user friendly then Evite and I LOVE IT! So use Socializr for your next event...because Evite sucks! ![]() This is the pic I used for 'Nina's Bowlerama Drama 7th Birthday Party' on Socializr, below it is my Bowling Birthday Beauty! We had her party at AMF Willow Lanes because they do Extreme Bowling (Glow-N-The-Dark Bowling with Disco Lights and Rock-N-Roll Music) on the weekends at 2:30pm and 11pm. Way fun! For the music on her Socializr invitation I used the song from Grease II , 'Let's Bowl' ! ahhahaa! I could not believe they had they song option on there. They have everything!! It was awesome! Socializr is way fun! For her cookie cake we got it with 7 Bowling Pins with Hot Pink Stripes! teeheehee! It was cute! Normally I go all out with the 'designer cake ladies' and spend crazy $$$ on those flour, egg, and sugar products (I will will do an entire Blog about those fabulous woman because I do love them so). I gotta tell ya, the older Nina gets and the more work I take on the less time I have to plan my poor child's events. Next year we will have it at home with a PiƱata (old pillow case) filled with whatever I can find last minute around the house (old Halloween candy and unused McDonald's toys). So sad!
