Why you ask?  Let me give you a long list of fabulous reasons!!  I don't even know if I can count them all!  The Fall antique fairs and markets are going on RIGHT NOW through October 4th, from Roundtop all the way to Warrenton (a 30 mile stretch folks)!  Zapp Hall Antique Weekend (big overview) I had never been, I had heard about it (from that Sassy Zebra) and she warned me about saving up my sock drawer money!!  THANK THE LORD I did because it was gone in 4 hours FLAT (don't tell my husband)!  I went with Christie Lacy  (click her name to see HER pics of Warrenton...FAB-U-LOUS) and we about died once we got to the tiny town of Roundtop;  all the tents are an amazing sight that we wanted to stop right then and there and start shopping!!!  AAAAHHH!  But don't stop!!  Keep going until you get to Warrenton!!!  Good Golly Miss Molly you will die and go to Market HEAVEN!  Just a little taste of who is there and what I found: Annette's Touch of Class Annette's "Mother" Flip-Flop!  Love it! Zapp Hall - best place to park in Warrenton, make left at old Diamond Shamrock (look for pink Junk Gypsy suburban) The 4 Queens - OMG!  Can you say petticoat junction fabulous? The 4 Queens rockin' the petticoat skirt! Lefty's General Store and Wholesalers - awesome cast iron trinkets and finials and such!  Loved this tent! Donna Keese - she does the 'Kaz' Santa's & Halloween items (I bought a witch).  They are AMAZING!  She is from Wheatland, MO and hand paints these Santa's and other whimsical creations on 'Cypress Roots' that will blow your mind!!!  Robyn you are in SO much trouble for getting me addicted to these!!  Donna's #417-282-1326       I love my Donna Keese witch, I love her, I love her!   Donna's  "KAZ" Santa's The Junk Gypsy - I have no words.  Amazing, just amazing. The Rhinestone Cowgirls - Kim Nauman's tent ROCKS!  You must go see it!  Look for the giant 'Logo a Gogo' sign! Willow Nest Farm - Their products are so sweet and so gorgeous you will be transformed!  They are located inside Zapp Hall.  Willow Nest goodies! I am talking THOUSANDS, I mean THOUSANDS of vendors from all over the COUNTRY!!!  Anything and everything you can imagine you will find at this place (antiques, junk, treasure, vintage, new, hip, modern, classic, you name it)!  Did I mention funnel cakes? Christie and I put the kids on the bus, took us about an hour to get out there, walked for 4 hours and didn't even put a dent in it!  I see now why girls go overnight!  I hear this weekend is a GREAT time to go because the dealers will have bargain pricing (last call).  Below are some pics from our trip, wish I had more but I was busy looking around!!  Get there as fast as you can, the weather is beautiful and you won't want to miss this!   Take a cart (or something with wheels to tote your goods around, everyone does) and wear tennis shoes!!    Andre is hungry and Royer's Café' sounds YUM!                                                  Andre found a fun Christmas Tent   HAD to stop and get the kids pumpkins (Andre & Julsey too)                         Furniture everywhere in Warrenton!   Shopping Overdose...it can happen.
