I don't know where to begin on telling you just how tired I am.  Obviously this weeks 'Freebie Friday' will be post-poned until next Friday because Mrs. Flanagan just needs a BREATHER!!  As much as I love this weather it keeps us SO busy and we just can't say NO to anyone or anything because we get so excited and caught up in the moment of the WEATHER!!  We are WEATHER JUNKIES!   By the time we get home we are all so tired and dirty (flip flops in a Pumpkin Patch and at the County Fair are a NO NO) that we all crash on our beds into slumber.  It is 10:15pm right now and my 7 year old is out with friends at the movies & was up until 12am last night with us at the Waller County Fair (so flippin' fun).  She awoke at 3am with her friend (lets call her 'I want to go home at 3am because I normally sleep fine but when I'm here Nina likes to wake me up and scare the crap out of me') and I was up yet again soothing the sweet pea's back to sleep.  Now it's 5am and the neighbors cat decided to stick it's ugly face in the window where I KNOW IT KNOWS my dogs can see it and they go bonkers, ready to attack!  7am... here come Nina and 'I want to go home at 3am because I normally sleep fine but when I'm here Nina likes to wake me up and scare the crap out of me' & they want my famous French Toast dippers & Peppered Bacon (French toast dipped in cinnamon toast crunch cereal....fancy shmancy at the Flanagan's).  BUT, to their surprise, I slap some cheerios in a bowl with milk and call them pretty!  That's as good as Mom gets on a night like that!  UGH!  Off to the Pumpkin Patch at 10am, lunch outside somewhere ANYWHERE because this weather won't last long, trip to toy store for cousins bday party (which turns into melt down because Nina wants something her cousin is getting that she doesn't have...typical), birthday party at 4pm, then she is off to the home of  'I want to go home at 3am because I normally sleep fine but when I'm here Nina likes to wake me up and scare the crap out of me' for a movie date & slumber party where Nina can then be crowned 'I want to go home at 3am because I miss my Mom'.  At which time I will get the call, the peach will be here on our doorstep, and we have all of Sunday to enjoy this weather!      Chris and I even tried to enjoy a semi-date night last night while she was out but by the time I was back from picking up dinner (too tired to go out) he was asleep on the couch.    ROMANCE!  After dinner I was so stinkin' tired I got into the shower with my bra on!  hahahaa!  Needless to say most of my days have been like this.  BUSY (but fun)!  I am trying so hard to respond to all the awesome emails, phone calls, letters, everything that comes NinaLoca.com's way!  But this month is one of my favorites and I will be taking some time off to spend it with my family.  I will still Blog, still post awesome goodies, but just not as much 'this month'.  It is rare that we can actually go outside and enjoy the weather in Texas and that's why this time of year is so special to me.  So get out there and make it special for your family too!  XOXO This e-mail address is being protected from spambots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it
